Mrs. Van Daan : Anne, could you pass me the potatoes please?
Anne(under her breath) : Some people are always so hungry! Always thinking about themselves first.
Mrs. Van Daan : Pardon me?
Anne : Oh nothing .
Mrs. Van Daan : Could you pass me potato's please?
Anne : Would you just eat slowly and let the rest take some of the potatoes first ?!
Mrs. Frank : Anne Frank! How could you be so rude to Mrs. Van Daan? Apologise right now. Mrs. Van Daan, i apologise for Anne for being so rude, please forgive her.
Anne : Mother, I do not need to apologise, Mrs. Van Daan does! Can't she be abit patience and wait for it to be her turn to have the potatoes?
Mrs. Frank : Anne, you keep quiet and eat your dinner now!
Anne : (keeps quiet and have her dinner)
Mr. Frank : Never mind, it's alright. She's a young child, forgive her.
Mrs. Frank : But she is so rude! And Mrs. Van Daan is her elder!
Mr. Van Daan : Dear, don't rely on such a rude girl, take it yourself then.
Anne : Shut up, it's none of your business!
Mr. Frank : Could we all stop this fight and let us have our dinner in peace?!
