Lesson 4 Part 1: Inhabitants of the Secret Annexe

To recap, there are 8 people living in the Secret Annexe:

1. Anne Frank
2. Otto Frank - Anne's Father
3. Edith Frank - Anne's Mother
4. Margot Frank - Anne's Sister
5. Hermann Van Pels - renamed Mr. Van Daan by Anne
6. Auguste Van Pels - renamed Petronella Van Daan in Anne's diary
7. Peter Van Pels
8. Fritz Pfeffer - renamed Albert Dussel in Anne's diary

    Otto Frank: Calm man, Treats everyone equally.
    Everyone listens to him when making decision.
    Edith Frank: She was always worried, and a very quite lady who does not speak her opinions out loud.
    Anne Frank: She felt a sense of security when Peter is with her.
    Margot Frank: She does not have any opinion, a very quite person.
    Hermann van Pels: Stubborn man,
    Auguste van Pels: a very difficult to please person, always want to be in the centre of the topic.
    Peter van Pels: he has big dreams after the war, always thinks of the future.
    Fritz Pfeffer: always arguing with Anne, looks like a difficult to please person.

    Margot Frank - understanding and helpful

    Peter Van Pels - has big ambition but Anne believes he is a hopeless case
    Fritz Pfeffer - looks smart, doesn't seem smoothe with his relationship with his girlfriend

    6. Mrs. Van Daan - Likes to stir up trouble.

    1.Anne - anxious, nervous -she's not comfortable around the Van Daans.

    2.Otto Frank(Anne's father) - He is modest, always thinks of others first.

    3.Edith Frank(Anne's mother) - She eats heartily and talks a lot. She is sophisticated.

    4. Margot Frank(Anne's Sister) - She is quiet and hardly eats, she is also fussy about food.

    5. Hermann Van Pels(renamed Mr. Van Daan by Anne) - He is selfish, always takes the biggest portion and he always gives his opinion. He doesn't like it when people disagree with him.

    6. Auguste Van Pels(renamed Petronella Van Daan in Anne's diary) - She is selfish, takes the best food and like to stir up trouble between Anne and her mother. She is talkative.

    7. Peter Van Pels - He's quiet, but he eats a lot.

    8. Fritz Pfeffer(renamed Albert Dussel in Anne's diary) - He always hides in the toilet.

    1) Anne - Straight-forward , Organised , Caring .
    2) Otto Frank - Anne's Father - Thoughtful , Modest (think of the others first) , not fussy .
    3)Edith Frank - Anne's Mother - Chatty , sophiscated , not so thoughtful .
    4). Margot Frank - Anne's Sister - Shy , fussy as she hardly eats .
    5. Hermann Van Pels - renamed Mr. Van Daan by Anne - Selfish as he takes the biggest portions first , Opinionated as he always gives his opinions .
    6. Auguste Van Pels - renamed Petronella Van Daan in Anne's diary - Selfish as she likes to stir up trouble between Anne & her mother and she's talkative and she does not think about the others as she think she doesn't always get enough !
    7. Peter Van Pels - He's quiet but he does eat alot ! He could eat twice as much !
    8. Fritz Pfeffer - renamed Albert Dussel in Anne's diary - Kind and care about others as he ask them to help themselves on the dining table and ask te to eat and not to talk .

    i find that Mr. Van Daan is selfish and he takes the biggest portion first. he always gives his opinions and he doesn't like it when people disagrees with him. Mr. Van Daan is selfish and she takes the BEST food. she likes to stir up trouble between Anne and her mother. she is also talkative. Peter is quiet and he eats a lot. Mrs. Frank eats heartily as well, she also talks a lot and she is more sophisticated. Mr. Frank is modest and he always think of others first. Margot is quiet and she hardly eats as she is fussy about food. Anne is an anxious and nervous girl.
