Dear Anne Frank,
After reading all the post in your diary, I feel that you're really a brave and strong lady. For being able to stay in the secret Annexe for 2 long years! If I were in your shoes, I might have not been able to stand staying in a small area. Living with the Van Danns, is such a tough job to do! They are so bossy and selfish. For being such a young lady, having the courage to survive in the war. It's really a sad ending that only your father survived. Life in the olden days are so different as compared to this century. Teens at your age now would have be badly pampered and thus will not stand the torture you've been through. Although in one of your diary entries you've mentioned that you're not afraid of dying.
Mentioning the other family that stays with you, the Van Danns. Mr Van Dann is such a bossy person. Why must everyone listens to him and can't voice out your comments. Mrs Van Dann is very very very selfish!! I hate her!! You all should have just talked back! He deserves no respect. Peter is a very nice boy. It's surprising that you have fallen for him after hating him so much!
Being able to be born in this world i must admit that I'm a very lucky girl. If I was born during your time, I hope to have known someone like you! Ever so brave and daring. I admire your characteristic. From that, I shall end this letter to you.
With loves,
ChuanYing. :b

Interesting that you encourage her to talk back to Mr. Van Daan. What do you think stops Anne from doing so? It's true that teenagers nowadays are much more pampered than in Anne's time! - Miss Ruby
ReplyDeleteIt is true, i totally agree. How I wish everyone can go back to that time, so that can understand how life difficult was.
